1. SHARED STORAGE IN J2ME: A MULTI AGENT SYSTEM APROACH (IEEE-2009)

               Current research trend towards mobile computing emphasizes the need for distribution of data among various clients in wireless environment. Sharing the data in J2ME opens the data to be accessible for all MIDLETs present on the device, hence creating a number of vulnerabilities to the confidential information that is intended to be shared with specific MIDLETs, e.g. a malicious MIDLET can delete, copy or move the Shared Record Store, in J2ME based application. This project aims at overcoming record store sharing problem through the concept of Multi- Agent System by providing a shared storage with explicit access to authenticated & authorized MIDLETs. With this mechanism data can be shared among specific MIDLETs. The implementation uses the SAGE-Lite framework as a solution to our proposed work.

2. CREDIT CARD FRAUD DETECTION USING HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL (IEEE-2008)

               Security has become one of the major issues for data communication over wired and wireless networks. Different from the past work on the designs of cryptography algorithms and system infrastructures, we will propose a dynamic routing algorithm that could randomize delivery paths for data transmission. The algorithm is easy to implement and compatible with popular routing protocols, such as the Routing Information Protocol in wired networks and Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector protocol in wireless networks, without introducing extra control messages. An analytic study on the proposed algorithm is presented, and a series of simulation experiments are conducted to verify the analytic results and to show the capability of the proposed algorithm.

4. VIRUS PROTECTING SYSTEM FOR MOBILE PHONES

            Mobile Antivirus software helps in blocking the virus files that tends to disturb the functionality of the mobile. 5. ASSESSING SERVICING OPPORTUNITIES OF BANK VIA MOBILE

                The main aim of the project is to mobilize the Bank Process that is used to reduce the customer transaction-time as well as user can able to access from anywhere through mobile.
                Mobile banking enable customer to access the information from his personal mobile and can able to view his account details. This system also used to transact money to another client through the mobile itself. The user can also verify his Cheque and demand draft details if another person may pass a demand draft or Cheque.      The Mobile Banking System runs in a Mobile Browser (Nokia Simulator). The software consists of two parts viz, the server part and the client part. The server part is present in Mobile Banking server in the form of Downloaded Application module. The client part is present at each client’s mobile. The server and the client are connected to each other over the Internet using WAP technology. The system also enables the user to pay his EB Bill, Telephone Bill through his mobile as well as pay for some other services, which he has availed. The Mobile banking system is not just for payment but a user of the system can also transfer money to another account holder through this system. He can receive from his bank or from his business associates or friend or other person who is also connected to the system.

6. APPLICATION DRIVEN OPTIMIZATION FOR VIDEO STREAMING OVER LAN NETWORKS (IEEE)

                This project based on IEEE Papers “Application - Driven Cross-Layer Optimization for Video Streaming over Wireless Networks” involves that a Video file in a format is to be transferred over networks. In the Existing system, the transformation of video file over networks cause a more traffic and it affects the other resources using the same network.
In the proposed system, this network traffic can be overcome by, that we are taking a video file and splitting into a frames (images) and these frames are stored in a jpeg format, those jpeg images are compressed by a method, so that it is easy to transfer over networks, then the compressed images are stored in server.
                If any client in the network request for a video file, then server response to a particular client by sending those compressed images of video file by receiving it, Clients have a provision to decompress it and again convert it to a video file. In this transformation, the original size of a video file is somewhat reduced, but we overcomed to get the file as good quality

7. J2ME: SMART ACCESSING MAIL SERVER THROUGH MOBILE

             Mobile e-mail is defined as a e-mail service optimized to support e-mail usage in mobile devices and mobile networks. This document describes various use cases to illustrate key mobile e-mail usage patterns and will also provide a comprehensive set of high level requirements that can be derived from the use cases. High-level requirements can be used as a basis for more detailed architecture definition work. Use cases and high level requirements are defined and described in a technology agnostic way and as such no specific technology implementation is suggested. This Requirements Document focuses on requirements for the enabler specifications rather than for particular implementations of those. Whether the described features are optional or mandatory for implementations will be decided at a later stage.
